How we handle artwork shipments
Analysis and planning
Free expert inspection to assess dimensions, materials, and criticality of transportation. Within 1 day we collect information, estimate in 2 days (4 days for international shipments).
Artwork packing and digital inventory
We use certified materials and ISPM 15 cases for maximum protection. Upon request, we create a digital inventory with photographic documentation.
Handling and documentation
Safe transportation with specialized equipment. For foreign countries, we handle customs paperwork and permits for cultural goods.
Specialized transportation
We use equipped vehicles and qualified partners by land, sea or air. We handle transfer to the port or airport.
Delivery and set up
Delivery on site or supervised storage. We support unpacking, placement and setting up in collaboration with curators and restorers.
Extra services and post-delivery safety
We offer storage, packaging disposal and bureaucratic support upon request. We monitor every step to ensure safety and museum standards.
Disclaimer
We recommend planning for the handling of works well in advance, depending on the destination and specific needs: local handling: at least 2 weeks in advance; domestic shipments: at least 3 weeks in advance; international shipments: at least 6 weeks in advance, to allow for the handling of customs paperwork and any permissions for the export of cultural property; exhibition and event set-ups: at least 8 weeks in advance, to coordinate transportation with installation and logistics time.
