100 years of history

Roiatti: a path to share

In 2018 Roiatti celebrated 100 years in the moving business: an important milestone full of precious moments to share, because despite our age, we are still as enthusiastic as the first day.

1918

Gio Batta (Tita) Roiatti, the first of three brothers, founded the company during the difficult years of World War I.

It all begins with a horse-drawn wagon, thanks to which he starts his business in the Udine area, which was Austro-Hungarian territory at the time.

1919

The Roiatti firm was enriched with two trucks, received as compensation for war damages from the Italian government. In the same year Gio Batta's brothers, Vittorio and Renzo, enter the scene: “Roiatti Fratelli” is born.

1958

Crossing the borders of the province of Udine, Fratelli Roiatti began their services in what we now know as the province of Pordenone, in the historic Viale Venezia warehouse (operational until 1993).

1985

The company became a Limited Liability Company under the direction of Luigi Roiatti, Vittorio's son, who, with Domenicoand Pietro (also sons of the first generation), seized the opportunity provided by economic growth and invested in equipment.

1986

Agostino Prosdocimo, who has been actively present since the early 1960s, when still at a young age he was hired as a porter, became a partner and kept the company's roots alive despite the choice of other careers by the third Roiatti generation (Domenico's sons, Luigi and Pietro).

2004

In July 2004 Roiatti became a partner of Pasha Group, a world leader in ocean transportation. The company continues to provide services for public and private clients and for the U.S. military bases USAFE, long-standing customers.

2018

The 100th anniversary of the business is celebrated: Roiatti meanwhile invests in innovation by purchasing machinery for the production of special wooden crates.

2019-2020

A new wooden caisson conforming to ASTM-69 standards and approved by the U.S. Department of Defense for use in their contracts is approved.

2020

Roiatti implements an integrated quality and safety management system, further strengthening operational standards.

2024

The company completes a major expansion of warehouses and vehicle fleet, enhancing logistics capacity to meet growing market needs.

Today

Today, Roiatti is involved in domestic and international removals, warehousing and storage, transportation, production of protective crates and special packaging, offering complete solutions for individuals, companies and public bodies.
